The Luke 10:28 Center for Christian Flourishing
A center for the promotion of Christian Flourishing, grounded in the Greatest Commandment.
The Luke 10:28 Center exists to develop and apply practical tools for Christian well-being, grounded in the Greatest Commandment and informed by research. We serve those who shepherd others and those who want to be shepherded well.
WHAT WE MEAN BY SHEPHERDS
Those whose vocation or calling places them in caring, formative relationships with other believers — pastors, counselors, coaches, spiritual directors, teachers, parents, small group leaders, and anyone who takes seriously the responsibility of walking alongside others in their faith.
The Framework
The Greatest Commandment Model™
The Greatest Commandment Model™ is a framework for Christian well-being developed through a directed qualitative content analysis of Christian Psychology literature. It maps well-being constructs onto the relational structure of Luke 10:27-28, organizing them across seven dimensions: Love the Lord, Heart, Soul, Mind, Strength, Love Yourself, and Love Others.
The model is descriptive before it is prescriptive. It names what Christian well-being looks like before offering any path forward, because you cannot support growth in someone without first understanding where they actually are.
